ADVANCED RADON GAS MONITORING
Scientific Protection Against the Silent Threat in Chicago & NW Indiana.
You can’t see it, smell it, or taste it, but Radon is the leading cause of lung cancer in non-smokers. In the shifting soils of the Chicagoland region, Radon levels can vary from one house to the next. At Valor, we don’t use primitive charcoal kits. We use elite electronic monitoring to provide a 48-hour “tactical map” of the air your family breathes.

THE "SILENT SOIL" REALITY
Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that gets trapped inside the foundation of your home. Because modern homes are built to be airtight, they often act as a vacuum, pulling Radon from the soil and into your living space.
- Foundation Infiltration: Gas entering through microscopic cracks in Chicago’s concrete slabs.
- The “Vacuum” Effect: Modern HVAC systems pulling soil gases upward into bedrooms.
- Invisible Risk: No physical symptoms until long-term damage is already done.
- The “Region” Hotspots: High concentrations found in the specific geological zones of NW Indiana and the Chicago suburbs.
YOUR 48-HOUR TACTICAL AIR MAP
We don’t just “test” for Radon; we monitor it. Our process captures the natural fluctuations of gas levels to ensure you get a true representative average, not a misleading “snapshot.”
- Continuous Data Stream: Measuring Radon levels every hour for a minimum of 48 hours.
- Tamper-Detection Intelligence: Our monitors detect if they have been moved or if windows were opened to “cheat” the test.
- Atmospheric Pressure Tracking: Analyzing how local Chicago weather patterns are affecting gas entry.
- Instant Digital Reporting: Detailed graphs sent to your phone the moment the 48-hour mission is complete.
Tools of the Trade
TECHNOLOGY TO MONITOR THE UNSEEN
Valor utilizes the BREEZE ET ecosystem—the gold standard in professional Radon detection—to ensure your results are scientifically indisputable.
- BREEZE ET™ Electronic Monitors: State-of-the-art sensors that provide higher accuracy than any passive “mail-in” kit.
- Environmental Sensors: Built-in tech that tracks humidity and temperature to verify “closed-house” conditions were met.
- Cloud-Synced Analytics: Your data is processed through encrypted servers for a tamper-proof, third-party verified report.
- NRPP-Certified Expertise: Erasmo’s national certification ensures your test follows strict federal EPA protocols.

Semantic FAQ
Radon levels fluctuate wildly based on the time of day and the weather outside. A 15-minute test is useless. EPA protocols require at least 48 hours to get a "Short-Term" average that actually means something for your health.
Yes. You can live in the home normally, but "Closed House Conditions" must be maintained—meaning all windows and exterior doors must stay closed (except for normal entry and exit) to ensure the air isn't artificially diluted.
If your report shows levels at or above 4.0 pCi/L, the EPA recommends mitigation. Because our BREEZE ET data is so precise, you can hand our report directly to a mitigation contractor to help them design the most effective vent system for your foundation.
